Bourbon Renewal
| 1½ oz | bourbon (preferably 100-proof) |
| ¾ oz | fresh-squeezed lemon juice |
| ½ oz | crème de cassis |
| 2 tsps | gomme syrup 🍯 |
| a dash | Angostura bitters |
Combine ingredients in a shaker and fill with ice. Shake to chill, then strain into an ice-filled glass.
