Whiskey Smash

4 mint leaves
3 lemon quarters
1 oz Paula’s Texas Orange (substituted for curaçao)
2 oz bourbon or rye whiskey
a lemon slice or mint sprig for garnish

In the bottom of a bar glass, muddle mint leaves, lemon quarters, and Paula’s Texas Orange. Add the whiskey and ice; shake. Strain into an ice-filled rocks glass. Garnish with mint sprig and lemon slice.
