Spiced nog flip

2 oz spiced rum
3 tsps confectioner’s sugar
⅛ tsp ground nutmeg
⅛ tsp ground cinnamon
2 oz half-and-half
an egg
a dash vanilla extract
freshly grated nutmeg for garnish

Shake hard with ice. Double strain into a chilled nog cup. Garnish with freshly grated nutmeg and/or a cinnamon stick.
