Combine all ingredients (except beer) in a shaker and fill with ice. Shake to chill, strain into an ice-filled glass. Add the IPA, stir to combine and garnish. For a richer, more rustic flavor, Chris Elford advises against using an overly filtered IPA for this cocktail.
