Deshler (original)

¾ oz	rye
¾ oz	Dubonnet rouge
2 dashes	Cointreau
2 dashes	Peychaud’s bitters
a swath	lemon peel
2 swath	orange peel

Express the oils from the swaths of citrus peel and add them to the a shaker. Add the remaining ingredients. Shake well and double strain into a chilled 🍸.

Garnish with orange peel.
