Cocktail à la Louisiane

¾ oz rye
¾ oz Bénédictine D.O.M.
¾ oz sweet vermouth
3 dashes herbsaint
3 dashes Peychaud’s bitters

Stir with ice and strain into a cocktail glass.

Some variants suggest more rye and proportionally less Bénédictine and vermouth.
